SSC Recruitment 2022: SSC invites eligible candidates for the post of Junior Hindi Translator or Junior Translator or Senior Hindi Translator. All areas in the country will be able to submit applications. The application fee is Rs.100 and the mode of payment is Online and Offline. Pay Matrix is Pay Level 6 (Rs.35400 to Rs.112400) and Level 7 (Rs.44900 to Rs.142400).
Age Limit is 18 to 30 years as on 01-01-2022 i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1992 and not later than 01-01-2004 are eligible to apply). The upper age limit will be relaxable. As per the official recruitment notification, the selection of the candidates will be based on the examination, merit list, and document verification. Essential Educational Qualifications (As on 04.08.2022) for SSC Recruitment 2022
1. For post codes ‘A’ to ‘D’ (Junior Hindi Translator or Junior Translator in various Central Government Ministries or Departments or Offices):
- Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
- OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
- OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level;
- OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
- OR Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level
- OR Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years‟ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.
2. For post codes ‘E’ (Senior Hindi Translator in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Offices):
Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or three years‟ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.
And all other qualification is like group A and D (Junior Hindi Translator or Junior Translator in various Central Government Ministries/Departments / Offices)
How to Submit Application Form for SSC Recruitment 2022
Applications must be submitted in only online mode at the official website of SSC Headquarters i.e. https://ssc.nic.in. For detailed instructions, please refer to Annexure III and Annexure IV of this Notice. Sample Proforma of One-time Registration and online Application Forms are attached as Annexure-III A and Annexure-IVA.
In the online Application Form, candidates are required to upload the scanned colour passport size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB). The photograph should not be more than three months old from the date of publication of the Notice of Examination. Image dimension of the photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height). The photograph should be without cap and spectacles. Etc.
