Supreme Court takes cognizance of proper treatment of corona patients and improper management of dead bodies

New Delhi, JNN / Agency. The Supreme Court has taken suo motu cognizance of allegations of proper treatment of corona patients and improper handling of dead bodies in hospitals. The Supreme Court will hear the matter tomorrow i.e. on Friday. According to the information shared by the Supreme Court, a bench of Justice Ashok Bhushan, Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Justice MR Shah will hear the case. 

A top court official said that Chief Justice of India SA Bobde took suo motu cognizance of allegations of improper handling of corona patients and bodies, headed by Justice Ashok Bhushan. Wally handed over the back. Some reports have stated negligence in care of Corona patients and improper handling of corpses of corona patients in the hospital, on which the apex court has taken cognizance.



Apart from this, the Supreme Court will give its verdict on the petitions of some companies challenging the Home Ministry’s order to pay full wages to employees during the 54-day lockdown on Friday. A division bench of Justices Ashok Bhushan, Sanjay Kishan Kaul and MR Shah will pass judgment on the matter. On June 4 last, the central government had said in its affidavit in the court that its notification of 29 March was not unconstitutional.

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court ordered the Center and the states to arrange to send them back to their homes within 15 days on the case of migrant laborers. Along with this, the apex court had also said that all cases filed against migrant laborers violating lockdown would be considered for withdrawal. The center and states have identified these migrant laborers and prepared the list. The apex court had asked the Center and the states to prepare data on the efficiency of migrant laborers.
