Japanese automaker, Suzuki is working on the long wheelbase 5-door version of the Jimny that is scheduled to be launched in India in 2023. The company has revealed the new Jimny 4Sport limited edition in Brazil. Designed as a more off-road focused SUV, the new Suzuki Jimny 4Sport production will be limited to only 100 units.
Based on the Jimny Sierra, the new Jimny 4Sport Limited Run model is priced at R$ 181,990 (Approx INR 27.15 Lakh) in Brazil. It is the most expensive iteration of the Jimny on sale in the international markets. The new Suzuki Jimny 4Sport Limited Edition comes with a snorkel near the A-column, which increases its water wading capacity of 600mm.
The new limited edition comes with the tubular rockslider painted in matte black. It is an accessory that acts as a side step and is claimed to protect the bodywork from dents while driving on tough roads like crossing ravines and rocks. The SUV gets four tow hooks finished in blue, roof rack painted in matte black and black skid-plate.
The Suzuki Jimny 4Sport comes with light blue painted trailers, a black painted roof, side moldings, black 4Sport badges with blue outlines on the doors and blue graphics near the hood and on top of the snorkel. It rides on 15-inch black finished alloy wheels shod with 215/75 R15 Pirreli Scorpion MTR “muddy” tires.
The cabin also has light blue theme on the seams of the steering wheel, seats and side air vents. The floor mats are made of rubber. The “4Sport” badge in blue colour is embossed on the headrest. The rest of the vehicle appears identical to the regular Jimny Sierra.
Powering the new limited edition Jimny is a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 108bhp of power and 138Nm of torque. It is paired to a 4-speed automatic gearbox with 4×4 traction. It is available in 5 colour options – Silk Silver, Gray, Black, Kinetic Yellow and White.
