Chief Commissioner of the State Right to Service Commission TC Gupta said that the day-to-day work of the common man should be completed in a time bound manner. The purpose of the commission is the satisfaction of the people. He said that 546 services of 31 departments of the government have been notified under Right to Service Act. Time limits have been set with respect to the delivery of services offered by the government departments. He said that the officers should keep in mind that the rejection rate of applications should be reduced and the public satisfaction rate should be improved.

TC Gupta said these things in a meeting held on Thursday in the Apparel House auditorium, Sector-44. Officials of various government departments, enlightened citizens, municipal councilors and representatives of RWA and NGR were present in the meeting. TC Gupta said that all the services recorded in the Right to Service Act are related to common life. Out of this, 277 services are being provided online through Antyodaya Saral Portal.

He said that any kind of suggestion or complaint regarding these services can be e-mailed to rtsc-hry@gov.in. Public awareness work is being done regarding Right to Service Commission and its related services. Meetings have been held in all the districts of the state regarding this. So far, meetings have been held in five districts and this is the sixth meeting in Gurugram.

TC Gupta said that the commission is very serious in this matter, if there is any delay in providing services by any officer, strict action will be taken against him. As a result of this, Antyodaya Saral Portal of Haryana Head Quarter has come in second place.

The Chief Commissioner said that Automated Appeal Software (AaS) has been started in the hands of the Chief Minister. If the person’s application does not work within the stipulated period, the appeal will automatically go to the higher authority. He said that 30 days time has been fixed in HSVP for building plan approval which will be reduced to 4 days soon.


Divisional Commissioner Rajiv Ranjan also expressed his views in the meeting. Municipal Collector Siddharth Dahiya gave detailed information about the services being provided by Saral Portal through Antyodaya. Mayor Madhu Azad, Municipal Commissioner of Gurugram Mukesh Ahuja, Administrator of Haryana Urban Development Authority Jaspreet Kaur, Additional Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena and other officials were present in the meeting.
