Tata Mutual Fund has launched six index funds simultaneously. This has increased the number of passive funds of Tata Mutual Fund. The NFO of these 6 funds will remain open till April 22. The minimum investment during NFO is Rs 5,000. Of these six funds, there are three which have been launched for the first time in the mutual fund industry. Tata AMC has created benchmarks for the new funds in association with Nifty indices. Nifty Indices is a subsidiary of NSE . This is an index provider. The new funds include Tata Nifty Auto Index Fund, Tata Nifty Auto Index Fund, Tata Nifty Realty Index Fund, Tata Nifty Financial Services Index Fund, Tata Nifty Midsmall Healthcare Index Fund etc.

Three funds launched in the industry for the first time

The six new funds of Tata AMC, which have been launched for the first time in the industry, include Tata Midsmall Healthcare Index Fund, Tata Nifty500 Multicap India Manufacturing 50:30:20 Index Fund and Tata Nifty500 Multicap Infrastructure 50:30:20 Index Fund. Anand Varadarajan, head of institutional clients at Tata Asset Management, said, “These funds offer long-term opportunities. For example, real estate has returned after a decade. Similarly, the auto sector has also seen a big change in terms of technology. Used to be.”

Investment opportunities in sectors like healthcare

He said that the healthcare index fund is based on smallcap and midcap companies. These segments offer a variety of opportunities, including hospitals, pharma and diagnostics. He said that in infrastructure, we are seeing rapid growth in railways, highways and electrification etc. In manufacturing, activities related to manufacturing are increasing in the country due to schemes like China Plus One and PLI. He said that as an investor you need to see where the money is going now.

Selected stocks included in index fund

Index funds track the performance of selected largecap, midcap and smallcap stocks. These stocks are part of the Nifty 500 index. The total weight for largecap is fixed at 50 percent. The weightage is fixed at 30 percent for midcap segment and 20 percent for smallcap segment. There were 75 stocks in this index at the end of March. These included 15 largecap, 25 midcap and 35 smallcap stocks.
