Air India has recently issued an advertisement for the recruitment of new employees. According to the advertisement, the airline is going to recruit more than 1000 pilots (Air India Pilot Hiring). Tata Group had acquired Air India in January last year. The company already has more than 1,800 pilots. The company is also going to hire captains and trainers and other staff.

Company buying new aircraft

Air India currently has 113 aircraft, while it has personnel capable of handling about 140 aircraft. Now the company has ordered 470 new aircraft from Boeing and Airbus. This is the biggest order ever in terms of new aircraft. Of these, 250 aircraft have been ordered from Airbus, while 220 aircraft have been ordered from Boeing. For these only Air India needs more employees.
