Notice will come if there is laxity in filing tax
Now preparations are on to deal strictly against those who were lax in paying taxes. Now automatic notices will be sent from the GSTN portal to the traders who do not pay the tax. If the traders do not respond to this notice, then action will also be taken. In such a case, they will also be directly assessed through the portal itself.
This was the rule before
Let us tell you that in GST, a provision has been made for traders to deposit tax (GSTR-3A) by 20th of every month. However, many traders do not deposit the tax on this fixed time. This comes to the notice of the Commercial Tax Department when they check on the portal. After investigation, notices were sent to the traders for depositing the tax. But now this notice will automatically go away four days after the due date of depositing the tax.
