TCS Rules: Different dress codes have been fixed by the company for Monday to Thursday, Friday, formal events and client visits. It was told in the mail that in the last two years, a large number of associates have joined us and are working in virtual or hybrid mode.
TCS Dress Code: TCS has issued a new order just a few days after closing the work from home (WFH) facility for most of the employees. According to media reports, TCS HR Head Milind Lakkad has sent an e-mail to the employees regarding following the dress code. It was said in the e-mail that it is important to follow the dress code to make the right impression on the company’s stakeholders around the world. Following the dress code will develop a sense of responsibility and duty towards the office among the employees. The dress code policy will also prove helpful in maintaining the company values.
Dress code decided according to the day and event
It was also said in the mail that in the last two years, a large number of our colleagues have joined us and are working in virtual or hybrid mode. In such a situation, it is our responsibility to ensure that they connect with us well. The policy of working from office will strengthen the values of TCS. Different dress codes have been fixed by the company for Monday to Thursday, Friday, formal events and client visits.
Dress code monday to thursday
Employees were informed through e-mail that from Monday to Thursday, male employees will have to come wearing full sleeve shirts and trousers. The shirt can be dark colored, plain, checked or lined. Female employees will have to come wearing dark colored formal skirt or business dress. Apart from this, female employees can also come wearing knee length kurta or saree. In foot wear, female employees will have to wear formal shoes and moccasins. Whereas women can wear flat or heeled sandals or shoes.
Friday dress code
On Friday, male employees can wear casuals, half sleeve shirts, collared T-shirts, golf or polo shirts. Casual trousers, khakis, chinos, straight cut or full length jeans can be worn with it. Female employees can come wearing kurti, printed blouse and skirt on Friday. Sneakers, moccasins and shoes can be worn as foot wear.
During formal events or client visits
If there is any event or the employee has to go on a client visit, it is important to follow the dress code completely. Male employees will have to wear light or dark colored business suits. Apart from this, you can also wear full sleeve formal shirt and trousers. It will be necessary for female employees to go in formal dress or business dress. Salwar suit or saree can also be worn as per convenience. Formal shoes or footwear will have to be worn on the feet.
