It is likely to turn into an air bubble in the Bay of Bengal in the next 24 hours. The epicenter was reported below the Pacific Ocean floor, however; no tsunami alert was issued.
It is likely to travel west-northwest and cross the northern Andhra Pradesh coast as an air bubble on Monday morning or afternoon. Due to this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in many parts of Telangana in the next three days.
Adilabad, Komurambhim-Asifabad, Nirmal, Manchiryala, Jagittala, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Karimnagar, Warangal Urban, Warangal Rural, Mahabubabad, Bhadradri, Kottagudem, Khammam and Suryapeta districts are likely to receive heavy rains today.
