France’s tennis star Gayle Monfils suffered an angry outburst following a loss at the Italian Open. He was defeated 6–2, 6–4 by Dominic Koeffer. Gayle Monfils said that he was racially commented by fans after losing at the Italian Open. A fan on Instagram called him an idiot, a black monkey and a slave. Monfils said, “I did everything, but it’s bad.” The evening was not good. He will again come back strongly.
The Italian Open has been running since 27 September. It is a practice tournament for players before the French Open.

Tennis players have faced fans even before the Monfils
