The terrorists shot Hameed when he went out for his morning walk. The terrorists fled after the incident. While the injured BJP leader was hospitalized in critical condition.

According to Budgam police, BJP OBC District President Abdul Hameed lived in a safe campus. He left for a walk on Sunday morning without informing the security personnel, when the terrorists shot him near the Budgam railway station.
