Tesla Hiring in India: Elon Musk, CEO of e-vehicle company Tesla, has started preparations for hiring in India. His company has advertised for recruitment on about 13 posts for Mumbai location. This clearly indicates that Tesla is going to enter the Indian market soon.

The company has said that the employees recruited for posts like business operations analyst and customer support specialist will work as a precursor for its entry into India. The employees recruited for these two posts will have to create an environment before Tesla’s arrival.

For which post will the recruitment be done

According to Tesla, the company has to recruit for posts like service advisor, ‘parts’ advisor, service technician, service manager, sales and customer support, store manager, sales and customer support, business operations analyst, customer support supervisor, customer support specialist, distribution operations specialist, order operations specialist, internal sales consultant and consumer engagement manager.

Why is Tesla hiring in India?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Tesla CEO Elon Musk during his recent visit to the US. Earlier, the Indian government had also reduced the import duty on e-vehicles from 110 percent to 70 percent. In this regard, the Indian market has made up its mind to give entry to Tesla. The company has also made full preparations to enter the Indian market. The government has changed the e-vehicle policy a few days ago. Under this, companies setting up e-vehicle plants with an investment of more than $ 500 million will be given exemption in import duty.
