Sony Reon Pocket 2 has been launched in Japan. It is a small AC, which will be worn inside clothing. It will run on AC charging. It costs Rs 10300.
Japanese company Sony has launched Reon Pocket 2 indigenously. It is a small-sized system that is specifically designed to be worn inside clothing. The company had earlier launched Reon Pocket last year.
Sony’s design of Reon Pocket 2 is similar to the Reon Pocket launched last year, but changes have been made to its hardware. The company claims that the new model absorbs heat at twice the speed of the old one. As a result, it performs faster cooling and cools the users. It is currently available only in Japan and is priced at 14,850 yen, which will be around Rs 10,300 in India.
No harm will be caused by sweat
Sony has said that the new product has been made sweat-proof, so that it will not deteriorate even when sweat comes. In such a situation, it can be worn even during a bit of running. However, this device is not completely dust and waterproof, the information of which has been shared by the company itself.
Steel is used
Sony used silicon in products launched last year and this year the company has used SUS316L stainless steel. It works to cool the skin. This is a special type of steel that does not harm the body and provides comfort to the users who wear it.
This AC will also be available in golf clothes
Sony has partnered with a brand called Le Coq, which manufactures golfing clothes. This AC will be sold by fitting inside clothes. Also, Reon Pocket 2 has four modes of changing the temperature.
