Beijing, agency. China has stepped up the exercise to pass the National Security Act for Hong Kong. In this regard, the National People’s Congress Standing Committee, China’s top legislative body, is going to have an important meeting of three days. This meeting will start from Sunday. It is expected that this law will be passed by 30 June i.e. before the 23rd anniversary of Hong Kong’s withdrawal from British rule. China is in a hurry to pass this law. However, neither the draft law nor its basic aspects have been cleared. 23rd of Hong Kong’s withdrawal from British rule
