Qatar Airways has been ranked the best airline in the world. Whereas Singapore Airlines Limited and Emirates are at the second and third positions respectively in this list.
Worlds Best Airlines 2022: The country’s second largest airline Vistara has achieved a new achievement. Vistara has been included in the Global Air Transport Rating Organization Skytrax’s World Airline Awards 2022 (Skytrax World Airline Awards 2022).
Qatar Airways has been named the best airline in the world at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2022. Whereas Singapore Airlines Limited and Emirates are in second and third place in this list respectively.
Japan’s All Nippon Airways Co. and Australia’s Qantas Airways Limited rounded out the top five.
According to Skytrax, “Singapore Airlines has grown from its dedication to customer service.” Hong Kong’s famous airline Cathay Pacific has dropped from sixth place to 16th place.
Awards given in different categories
Singapore Airlines won the award for Best First Class Cabin, while Qatar Airways was selected for Best Business Class. Virgin Atlantic Airways Limited awarded Premium Economy and Emirates for Best Economy Cabin.
In other categories, Singapore Airlines’ budget carrier Scoot took the top spot for best long-haul low-cost airline. At the same time, Singapore Airlines was awarded for the best cabin staff. Singapore Airlines also took first place in terms of ANA cabin cleanliness.
Skytrax Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Edward Plastad said in a press release that Qatar Airways was the largest airline with frequent fliers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The World Airline Awards were announced after an online survey.
