New Delhi Women Jan-Dhan bank account holders will start getting the third and last installment of Rs 500 from today. These installments of five hundred rupees were announced in March by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. With a view to provide direct help to the poor in times of Corona virus crisis, the government announced on March 26 that the ex-gratia amount of Rs 500 per month in the Mahila Jan Dhan accounts for three months from April. Under this announcement, two installments have come to the Mahila Jan Dhan accounts and the third installment will start falling from Friday.
The finance minister had announced this direct help under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana. Under this, direct assistance of Rs 500 is being provided in the bank accounts of women beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana. These beneficiaries will start getting the third and final installment from Friday.

This last installment in Mahila Jan Dhan accounts will be put in five stages. In this way the beneficiaries will be able to take their money by visiting the bank in turn. Installment can also be withdrawn through ATM machines. In view of the corona virus epidemic, a schedule has been made for the installment clearance to ensure adherence to the physical distance rule.
According to this schedule, the money will come into the account of women Jan Dhan account holders whose account number has the last digit of 0 or 1 on June 5. Account number ending in 2 or 3 can go to the bank on June 6 and take money. The beneficiaries who have 4 or 5 at the end of their account number can withdraw the installment on June 8. The beneficiaries whose last number of account number is 6 or 7 can withdraw from the bank on 9 June. Apart from this, the money will be in the account of the account number which has 8 or 9 at the end of June 10.
