New Delhi, Business Desk. The stock market opened strongly again on the last trading day of the week. The Bombay Stock Exchange’s 30-share sensitive index Sensex opened 217 points today at 34198, while the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty crossed 10000 and started trading. At 9:43 am, the Sensex gained 291.23 points to 34,271.93 and the Nifty was trading up 101.15 points at 10,130.25. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 39 stocks were trading in green mark and 11 stocks in red mark.
The Reliance Industries (RIL) share price touched a record level of Rs 1,614.95 after news of Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Investment Company investing Rs 9093.6 crore for 1.85 per cent stake in Jio Platforms.

On Thursday, the Sensex slipped 128.84 points, or 0.38 per cent, to close at 33,980.70 from the previous session and the Nifty also declined by 32.45 points or 0.32 per cent to 10,029.10.
Situation of Sensex shares
On Thursday, markets around the world closed down. Talking about the US market Dow Jones, it was up 11.93 points at 26,281.80 with a gain of 0.05 percent. At the same time, the second market of the US Nasdaq was down 67.10 points at 9,615.81, down 0.69 percent. The S&P was down 0.34 per cent, down 10.52 points at 3,112.35.
