Toll will be charged in a new way in India – Toll Plate
Now the Road Transport Minister of India is considering many options to change the toll system of India and in all these arrangements GPS toll system and new number plate will be used continuously. There is talk of implementing the system.
GPS system will be installed – toll will be removed
Nitin Gadkari said that at present we have a system to collect toll but we are working on two options. There is an option that satellite based toll-system in which GPS will be installed in the car and toll will be deducted from it.
New number plate may be installed
Now work has started on the technology of making new type of number plates. Now it will be mandatory for the manufacturer to install this number plate. All the old number plates will be replaced by new number plates which will have auto fitted GPS system in the number plates. A software will be attached with the new number plate, which will automatically deduct the toll.
Know that this will get rid of long queues and at the same time you will have to pay less for traveling to work. On the contrary, in today’s time more toll has to be paid on the use of short distance road.
