Traveling to Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Lucknow has now become expensive. NHAI has increased the rates of Faridpur toll. The increased rates came into effect from 12 midnight on Wednesday. Now vehicle owners will have to pay more money than before when passing through toll.
The National Highway Authority (NHAI) has implemented new rates at Faridpur Toll Plaza located on Bareilly-Lucknow Highway from 12 midnight on Wednesday. Due to this, traveling to Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Lucknow has now become expensive. More than 18 thousand vehicles pass through here in 24 hours. On average, toll tax is Rs 30 lakh per day. Now Rs 34 lakh will be collected per day.

On an average 18 thousand vehicles pass per hour. The toll is around Rs 30 lakh. Now the revenue will increase by three to four lakh rupees. With the commencement of Roja Bypass, the journey on National Ram Marg has increased by 10 kilometers. Therefore the toll rates have been revised.
One lane of Hulasnagara overbridge remained closed
One lane remained closed on Wednesday for technical inspection of Hulasnagara Overbridge (ROB) on Bareilly-Lucknow Highway. Traffic on both sides was routed through a single lane. Technical teams of National Highway Authority of India (NNAI) and CRRI (Central Road Research Institute) remained busy in the investigation.
One lane will be inspected for five days and the other lane will be inspected for five days. During this period, traffic will pass through a single lane. Traffic on the overbridge will be normal from October 1.
