Explain that the tax is revised every year by NHAI. The result of this is that from April 1, 2022, you will have to pay more toll tax than before for commuting.

NHAI Project Director NN Giri said that the notification for the financial year 2022-23 has been issued. On the highway connecting Delhi, the toll tax for cars and jeeps has been increased by ₹ 10. The biggest increase has been made in the toll of the big vehicle. Out of these, one-way toll has been increased by ₹ 65.
How much will be the toll on which route?
Toll charges on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway (59.77 km) will also be increased by at least 10%. On the expressway from Sarai Kale Khan to Kashi toll plaza, the toll tax for light-motor vehicles like cars and jeeps will be ₹155 instead of ₹140. Toll tax from Sarai Kale Khan to Rasoolpur Sikrod Plaza will be ₹ 100, while for Bhojpur it will be ₹ 130.
From Indirapuram, NHAI will charge a toll of Rs 105 for light motor vehicles up to Kashi, Rs 80 up to Bhojpur and Rs 55 up to Rasulpur Sikrod.
NHAI was supposed to start collecting toll from passengers on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway from December 25 last year, but it could not happen then.
14% hike on Kherki Daula
Apart from this, toll tax will also increase on Kherki Daula toll plaza located on Delhi-Jaipur highway. There will be an increase of 14 percent on this toll plaza. On the other hand, the toll on Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway (KMP) will increase by 9 percent or more. According to the Kherki Daula toll plaza management, from April 1, large commercial vehicles (trucks, buses and similar vehicles) will now be charged ₹ 235 per trip instead of ₹ 205 before.
The regular toll fee for cars and jeeps has been increased from ₹10 to ₹70 to ₹80. For minibus-type vehicles, ₹115 will be charged instead of ₹100. On an average more than 80,000 vehicles pass through Kherki Daula toll plaza every day.
