If you are also a car owner then this news can give you a lot of relief. Because now you will not have to worry about toll tax on some highways. Let us tell you that the Government of Rajasthan has decided to abolish toll tax on private vehicles in the state. However, toll will continue to be levied on commercial vehicles as before.

According to the information, toll will be collected only from commercial vehicles on all the highways of the state. MPRDC has prepared and issued tenders for this. MPRDC DM MH Rizvi told that earlier it was decided to collect toll from all four wheels. But as per the instructions of the government, now toll tax will be levied only on commercial vehicles. This decision has been taken keeping in view the problems of the general public.

Let us tell you that in the cabinet meeting held last month, it was decided to exempt private vehicles including cars, jeeps and passenger buses from toll tax on this route. After this, the tender process is being completed afresh. It is being told that after the completion of the tender process by next month, all the three toll blocks of the route will start. Significantly, MPRDC had done asphalt work on that road three months ago. It has been decided to levy toll to recover the amount.

They will not have to pay toll tax-

At the same time, let us tell you that some departments have also been created by the government. The people involved do not have to pay toll tax. Earlier 9 people were included in this category, now it has been increased to 25. This includes vehicles ranging from government employees to corpses, which do not have to pay toll tax. At the same time, public representatives have also been kept free from toll.

All vehicles of the Government of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh on official duty on 17 routes in the state, non-commercial vehicles of former and present members of Parliament and Legislative Assemblies, all vehicles of the Indian Army, ambulances, fire brigade, Indian post and telegraph Department vehicles, tractor trolleys, autorickshaws, two wheelers, bullock carts, freedom fighters and accredited journalists and additional passenger vehicles like buses, cars, jeeps etc. are exempted from toll.
