New Delhi Ten central trade unions, including the Indian National Trade Union Congress and the Indian Trade Union, have called for nationwide protests on 3 July, expressing their displeasure against the government’s anti-labor policies. A joint statement of ten central trade unions stated, ‘We call on the working class and trade unions from all affiliated organizations to make the program of nationwide protest successful on 3 July 2020’.
He said, following the nationwide protest day, a concrete form of non-cooperation and disregard, including a nationwide general strike, would be decided by the joint forum of central trade unions and independent unions and unions at the appropriate time in the next phase.
In this strike, 10 trade unions including Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC), All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), Hind Mazdoor Sabha (HMS), Center of Indian Trade Union (CITU), All India United Trade Union Center (AIUTUC) , Trade Union Co-ordination Center (TUCC), All India Central Council of Trade Unions (AICCTU), Self-Employed Women’s Association (SEWA), Labor Progressive Federation (LPF) and United Trade Union Congress (UTUC).

He demanded the government to organize a 12-point charter, an Indian labor conference to focus on labor and trade union rights, job losses, wages, job security and migrant workers. Explain that there are 12 central trade unions in the country.
He said, the number of unemployed is more than 14 crores and if the daily wage / contract / casual workers are added to it, then the number rises to 24 crores, who do not have livelihood at present.
According to the trade union organization, the government’s so-called Rs 20 lakh crore package is nothing but a hoax and cruel joke on the victims.
