Delhi Traffic Advisory: Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory in view of the international trade fair starting today in Delhi. The advisory has been said that there may be traffic problems on Mathura Road, Bhairon Marg, Ring Road, Shershah Road and Purana Qila Road. Entry to the fair will be restricted for merchant visitors from November 14 to 18. Common people will be allowed to visit the fair from November 19 to 27. The traffic police on Sunday tweeted on the official Twitter handle that the entry of visitors will not be from 5-A and 5-B. They will enter through gate numbers 01, 04, 10, 11 and Shilp Museum gate. The entrance for media persons will be from 4 and 10. ITPO officers will be able to enter through gate numbers 4 and 10. Entry will not be allowed after 6 pm.
It has been said in the traffic advisory that there will be no sale of tickets at Pragati Maidan. Tickets will be sold online and at select metro stations. The stopping place for driver-driven vehicles and taxis will be in front of gate number 4. Entry to the fair can be closed in advance. Parking will not be allowed on Mathura Road and Bhairon Marg. Visitors will not be allowed to park on Shershah Road, Purana Qila Road, Bhagwan Das Road and Tilak Marg. The parked vehicles will be picked up and parked at the National Stadium.
It has been said in the advisory that right turn will not be allowed from Mathura Road to Bhagwan Das Road and Subramaniam Bharathi Marg. In the traffic advisory, commuters have been asked to avoid Bhairon, Purana Qila Road, Shershah Road-Mathura Road from W-Point to Mathura Road-Subramaniam Bharathi Marg crossing.
