The traffic police has shared a lot of information regarding the challan, which can also harm you due to lack of information. In fact, if your challan has also been cut, then the traffic police will set up Lok Adalats for its disposal.
Giving information in this regard, Delhi Traffic Police said that National Lok Adalat will be organized by Delhi State Legal Services Authority in collaboration with Delhi Traffic Police on 11th December 2021 from 10 am to 3 pm for settlement of all types of compoundable traffic challans. Settlement of on-the-spot challans and challans issued by Notice Branch of vehicles (including commercial vehicles) of all notices/challan slips by litigants in any court of Tis Hazari, Karkardooma, Patiala House, Saket, Rohini, Rouse Avenue and Dwarka Court Complexes in Delhi This can be downloaded from the website of Traffic Police and no facility to take or download the printout will be available in the court premises.
In order to download the Notices/Challan and take a printout of the same, you need to log on to the website of Delhi Police. For settlement of challans you have to visit the court number mentioned in the challan at the given stipulated time. Apart from this, National Lok Adalat is also being set up in Uttar Pradesh’s District Court Surajpur, Gautam Budh Nagar from 10 am on December 11 for those drivers whose challan has been deducted.
