Exceptions in helmet rules
If you have left home without a helmet on a bike, scooter etc. and if you are issued a challan in the meantime, then you will not be allowed to ride again on the same day. The reason for this is that once you have left home, it cannot be corrected. In such a situation, after issuing a challan once, the police can let you go for the whole day.
Challan can be issued multiple times a day for these mistakes
If you are over speeding and your challan has been issued, then a challan can be issued for the second or third time in the day. The reason for this is that the mistake is being made intentionally. On the other hand, if you have not worn a seat belt and you have been challaned, then a challan can be issued again for the same. Here too, the reason is that the belt has not been worn intentionally.
