How to wear a helmet

Now challan of Rs 2000
The Government of India has made changes to the Motor Vehicles Act 1998. In which an immediate fine of up to Rs 2,000 will be imposed on two-wheeler riders not wearing helmets or not wearing them properly. That means if the bike rider is wearing a helmet, but it is open, then a fine of Rs 1,000 will be imposed on him. Even if you are wearing a helmet and not wearing it tightly, you will be fined Rs 1,000. Overall, the helmet now has to be worn completely properly. If this does not happen then you will have a challan of Rs 2000.
There should be ISI mark on the helmet
If the helmet does not have BSI (Bureau of Indian Standards ISI), you can be fined Rs 1,000. That means you will have to wear only ISI marked helmet while riding a bike-scooter. If this does not happen, then a challan of Rs 1,000 will be issued to you under Section 194D MVA of the Motor Vehicle Act. However, Delhi Police is currently issuing challan of Rs 1000 on people.
