Now another decision has been taken by the Noida administration, in which it has been told that strict action will be taken against those who violate traffic rules and 10 times more fine can be imposed.
Now a challan of up to Rs 10,000 can be issued for driving under the influence of alcohol, while there can also be a jail of 6 months. Those who violate again can be fined 15 thousand and jailed for two years.
Those who do not have insurance may have to pay a fine of two thousand rupees under the Motor Vehicle Act. In this case, you can also be jailed for three months.
Apart from this, if you are driving a bike or scooter without a helmet, you will have to pay one thousand rupees. Driving without a license can result in a fine of up to five thousand.
Using a phone while driving can now result in a fine of up to 5 thousand rupees. These new rules have been implemented from March 1, which means that one mistake of yours can cost you heavily.
