Southern Railway canceled 15 trains
Due to the Michong storm in the coastal area of Andhra Pradesh, Southern Railway has decided to cancel many trains. Due to the storm, Southern Railway has completely canceled 15 trains running from Chennai. In such a situation, if you have to travel by train today, then definitely check the list of canceled trains.
These 15 trains were canceled due to ‘Michong’ on December 7, 2023-
According to the information given by ANI, 15 trains have been completely canceled due to heavy rains in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The canceled trains include MGR Central-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Andaman Express (16031), MGR Central-Vijayawada Vande Bharat Express (20677), MGR Central-Mysore Vande Bharat Express (20607), MGR Central-Mysore Shatabdi Express (12007), MGR Central-Coimbatore Kobei Express (12675), Coimbatore-KCR Bengaluru Express (12639), MGR Central-Tirupati Express (16057), Tirupati-MGR Central Express (16058), MGR Central-Tirupati Express (16053), Tirupati-MGR Central Express (16054), MGR Central-Coimbatore Shatabdi Express (12243), Coimbatore-Vijaywada Janshatabdi Express (12077), Coimbatore-KCR Bengaluru Double Decker Express (22625), Chennai-Tirunelveli Vande Bharat Express (06067) and Tirunelveli-Chennai Vande Bharat. Express (06068) has been completely canceled.

These trains were also partially cancelled-
Apart from Cyclone Michong, Railways has also canceled many more trains due to various reasons. In this, many trains like Vindhyachal Express (11271), Vindhyachal Express (11272), Kaifiyat Express (12226), Triveni Express (15075) etc. have been cancelled. Many trains have also been partially canceled due to the Michong storm. In this, trains like Chennai Rameshwaram Superfast Express (22661), Rameshwaram-Chennai Express (22662) and Setu Express (22662) have been partially cancelled.
