In a recent report, it was claimed that TRAI will now block unregistered mobile numbers. Neither calls can be made nor messages can be sent from these numbers.

As per TRAI rules, separate numbers are released for promotional purpose. If you make promotional calls from personal number then your number may be closed.

Number will be closed in 5 days if caught

According to the information, TRAI has also talked to telecom service providers to stop it. As per the rules, if a user is found making promotional calls from a normal number, then his number can be blocked within 5 days.
