Spot turmeric prices slumped on Thursday. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Salesyard, finger turmeric was sold at ₹5,828-7,608 a quintal.
The root variety was sold at ₹5,299-6,817. At the Regulated Marketing Committee, finger turmeric was sold at ₹6,299-7,590 and the root variety at ₹6,039-7,127.
