UCIL Recruitment 2021: Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Trade Apprenticeship Trainee posts under the Apprentices Act 1961. All interested candidates can apply online for UCIL Apprenticeship Recruitment 2021 on official website till 29 October 2021. The application process for recruitment to these posts has been started from October 9.
According to the official notification, a total of 242 posts of apprentice will be recruited through this process. In which, 80 posts of fitter, 80 posts of electrician, 40 posts of welder, 15 posts of turner, 5 posts of instrument mechanic, 12 posts of mechanic diesel, 5 posts of carpenter and 5 posts of plumber. Candidates will be selected for recruitment to these posts on the basis of marks obtained in ITI. The candidates who have already received or are currently undergoing training under the Apprentices Act 1961 in any Government / Public Sector / Private Industrial Organization will not be eligible to apply for these posts.
Candidates should have passed Matriculation / Class 10 for recruitment to various posts of Apprentice. Also, the candidate should have ITI certificate in the relevant trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). Talking about the age limit, the candidate’s age should be between 18 years to 25 years for recruitment to these posts. However, age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC/ ST category candidates as per government rules. At the same time, OBC category candidates will get a relaxation of 3 years.
