Unichem Laboratories gains 3% on tentative ANDA approval from USFDA

Shares of Unichem Laboratories added 3.5 percent intraday Wednesday after company received tentative approval from USFDA.

The company has received tentative approval for its ANDA, Tadalafil tablets, 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for a generic version of ELI LILLY’s Cialis, 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg.

Tadalafil tablets indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, treatment of the sign and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia and treatment of ED and the signs and symptoms of BPH.

The share touched its 52-week high Rs 382 and 52-week low Rs 182 on 08 January, 2018 and 11 October, 2018, respectively.

Currently, it is trading 49.16 percent below its 52-week high and 6.7 percent above its 52-week low.

At 12:07 hrs Unichem Laboratories was quoting at Rs 194.20, up Rs 2.95, or 1.54 percent on the BSE.
