Union Bank of India Fixed Deposit Rates: Union Bank of India has revised the interest rates on FDs of less than Rs 3 crore. According to the Union Bank website, the new interest rates have come into effect from August 1, 2024. Union Bank of India is offering an interest rate of 3.5 percent to the general public on FDs maturing between seven to 45 days.
Union Bank of India Fixed Deposit Rates: Union Bank of India has revised the interest rates on FDs of less than Rs 3 crore. According to the Union Bank website, the new interest rates have come into effect from August 1, 2024. Union Bank of India is offering an interest rate of 3.5 percent to the general public on FDs maturing between seven to 45 days. FDs between 46 days to 90 days are now getting an interest rate of 4.50 percent. It is offering 4.80 percent interest on FDs maturing between 91 days to 180 days. FDs maturing between 181 days to less than 1 year are getting 6.25 percent interest.
Senior citizens are getting more interest
Senior citizens are getting 0.50% extra interest in addition to the normal rates. The maximum interest rate given to senior citizens is 7.75 percent for 399 days.
Super Senior Citizen FD Rates
The bank is offering 0.75 percent more interest for super senior citizens. The maximum interest rate on FDs of 399 days is 8 percent.
