Unlock-1.0-Phase-2: Religious places open in UP, CM Yogi Adityanath did Rudrabhishek in Gorakhpur

Lucknow, JNN. After prolonged lockdown in the country due to Corona virus infection, everything is gradually unlocking. Phase-2 of Unlock-1 in Lockdown 5.0 has been allowed to open in all places with no religious place as well as malls, hotels and restaurants with great precaution since Monday.

The government has given permission to reopen religious places from today. Everywhere the government has given permission to open religious places with precautionary measures. Group singing is not allowed in temples while touching idols and sacred books etc. are not allowed. Religious sites were first opened on Monday morning. People arrived at the temple, mosque, gurudwara following physical distancing. People worshiped there, offered prayers and prayers. Many people have also reached the church.

In Gorakhpur, the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath offered prayers at the Gorakhnath temple. After this, a large number of people stood in the queue waiting for darshan to reach the temple. People are being sanitized at the gate itself. Also, no one is allowed to enter without a mask.



Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed Rudrabhishek for public welfare here today. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed Rudrabhishek on Monday morning at Gorakhnath temple to get rid of corona infection and for public welfare. The ceremonial worship held in the Shaktipeeth of the temple was conducted by the head priest Acharya Ramanuja Tripathi Vedic with the Vedapathi Brahmins. Earlier, the Chief Minister worshiped Guru Gorakhnath with a Vedic chant and took blessings by visiting the tomb of his Guru Brahmalin Mahant Avedyanath.

In this sequence, he visited the temple premises and saw the arrangement for which he had directed late Sunday night. The doors of the temple have been opened for devotees since Monday, 80 days later. So far only few devotees have come to the temple. The Chief Minister’s directive is to observe physical distancing during the puja. The Chief Minister will hold a meeting with the officials of the IMA and Trade Board here today. They have to leave for Lucknow by 12:30 pm.

Ram city Ayodhya oriented towards religious places

Devotees started arriving at various religious places in Ramnagri Ayodhya from Monday morning itself. Here, along with Ram Janmabhoomi, Kanak Bhawan reached the temple in large numbers. People gathered in Hanumangarhi, the place which has the status of being the main seat of Bajrangbali.

It is believed that when Lord Ram went to Swadham in Treta Yuga, Hanuman Ji made Ayodhya his headquarters at this place. About 2 century ago, Nawab Mansoor Ali Khan of Awadh renovated the site with grandeur in the shape of the fort. On special occasions, do you have to say that even on normal days, there is an influx of devotees here. Due to the Corona crisis, on 25 March, like other shrines of the country, the door of this place was also closed to all devotees. After this with Hanumangarhi the shops around it and a small but filled world got engulfed in silence.

Monday was the beginning of life of this world again. It was feared that a large number of devotees would be oriented towards the temple after stopping the lock-down, but this did not happen and only an average number of devotees arrived to visit. In such a situation, the administration and temple management felt comfortable regarding the physical distance from the corona and ensuring sanitation. Young Mahant Raju Das, associated with Hanumangarhi, thanked the devotees and gave their understanding for not coming in the spirit of wholesale.

Devotees reached Hanuman Setu temple in Lucknow to worship. One said that the temple is open for the first time today after the lockdown. 

Very good arrangements have been made here, along with physical distancing, sanitizers have been used everywhere.

People offered prayers at the Idgah Mosque in Lucknow. People were screened and hand sanitized before entering the mosque. 

People arrived here with a mask while physical distancing is also being strictly followed.

Devotees prayed at the Yahiaganj Gurdwara in Lucknow. Here also the guidelines of the Ministry of Health are being followed.





Although some major temples of Mathura and Vrindavan have not been opened in Mathura on Monday, Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi has been opened. People have reached here since morning. In Mathura, the security arrangements have been tightened and people have been appealed to follow the standards. Devotees will be able to see here from seven to 12 in the morning and from four in the evening to 8 in the night. Kapil Sharma, Secretary, Shri Krishna Janmasthana Seva Sansthan and Member Gopeshwar Chaturvedi said that the instructions given by the state government during the opening of the temple will be completely followed.





In the meantime, with the help of infrared scanners, sanitizers, liquid soap, shells have been made in the temple complex and temple route for social distancing. The temple will also be sanitized everyday in the afternoon and night. Arrangements have also been made for herbal staff, which will be fed daily, to the personnel of the institute as well as policemen serving in the service. The temple management has also put up banners to defeat this epidemic and to make the devotees aware.
