New Delhi: Important information related to the high school and intermediate examinations of UP Board has come to the fore. Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education’s 10th and 12th board exams 2022 (UP Board 10th, 12th Exam 2022) will be conducted after the upcoming UP assembly elections.
When will the pre-board exams be held?
It has also come to the notice that the pre-board examinations of 10th (high school) and 12th (intermediate) will be conducted from January 1, 2022 to January 10, 2022. Assembly elections are to be held in Uttar Pradesh, in view of this, this decision has been taken keeping in view that there should be no impact on the board examinations.
In media reports, it has been claimed, quoting sources, that this year the number of applicants for the high school examination is more than 27 lakh, while in intermediate, more than 23 lakh students have applied for the examination. A total of more than 51 lakh students have applied for class 10th and 12th.
Elections may be held in February-March
The term of the Uttar Pradesh government formed in the year 2017 is ending in 2022, so the plan will be to complete the work of the electoral process by March. Schools are made polling stations for the assembly elections. In view of the impact of elections on board examinations, both the process cannot be conducted simultaneously.
