UP Board Exam Schdule: According to the examination schedule announced by the board, the examinations of both high school and intermediate will start from March 24 to April 12. The examinations will be held in two shifts.
New Delhi: The Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh (UP Board)’s high school and intermediate examinations will begin simultaneously on Thursday. A total of 51 lakh 92 thousand 689 candidates will appear in this examination, which is called the biggest examination of its kind in the world.
The examinations will start from March 24 and will run till April 12.
According to the examination schedule announced by the board, the examinations of both high school and intermediate will start from March 24 to April 12. The examinations will be held in two shifts. This time 15 lakh 53 thousand 198 students and 12 lakh 28 thousand 456 girls will appear in the high school examinations.
At the same time, in Intermediate 13 lakh 24 thousand 200 students and 10 lakh 86 thousand 835 girl students will take the exam. A total of 51,92,689 candidates will appear in the board examinations this time. In terms of numbers, the Uttar Pradesh board examinations are considered to be the world’s largest examination conducted on a large scale.
Board exams will be conducted at 8,373 centers
A total of 8373 centers have been set up for conducting board examinations. These include 497 state’s 3589 non-government aided and 4307 unaided schools. The board has categorized 861 examination centers as sensitive and 254 centers in the category of very sensitive.
Strict monitoring will be done through strong room
A control room has been set up to keep an eye on the arrangements for the examination, which was inaugurated by the Chief Secretary of the state Durgashankar Mishra on Wednesday. Mishra said, “Through this control room, the footage of a total of 2,97,124 CCTV cameras installed at all the examination centers will be directly received and a team under the supervision of senior officials through the strong rooms set up across the state to closely monitor the entire examination. Will keep an eye on it.”
Apart from this, 75 control rooms have been set up at the district level and 8373 at the school level. As many as 8373 sector magistrates have been deployed to keep an eye on the examination. This time if any candidate is caught copying and is found indulging in mass copying, then action will be taken against him under the National Security Act (RASuka).
