The issued notification stated this
In the post issued by UP Police Recruitment, it was told that now Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has given another big relief for recruitment to more than 60,000 constable posts in UP Police. After relaxation in the limit, the board has given an opportunity to those candidates who had passed their 10th (high school) examination 13 years ago to apply for police recruitment.
Order was given to give relaxation of three years
Even before this, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered to give three years relaxation in age limit to the candidates of all categories in the direct recruitment for 60,244 posts of Constable Civil Police. Taking cognizance of the demand for relaxation in age limit of the candidates, the Chief Minister has instructed Principal Secretary Home Sanjay Prasad to take necessary action.
Three years relaxation in age limit
Union Minister Sanjeev Balyan, BJP MP Virendra Singh Mast and many MLAs and leaders of political parties had written a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for relaxation in age limit. In this regard, the Chief Minister has directed State Principal Secretary Home Sanjay Prasad that the maximum age limit in this year’s examination should be increased from 22 to 25 years.
Big announcement for the youth
Since the release of the recruitment notification, a large number of youth were demanding to increase the age limit. Considering the demand of the youth as legitimate, Chief Minister Yogi has decided to give three years relaxation in the upper age limit for youth of all categories in the ongoing process for recruitment to the post of Reserve Civil Police. Chief Minister Yogi said on Twitter that your government is fully committed to the interests of the youth and their bright future. In this sequence, in the ongoing process for recruitment to the post of Reserve Civil Police in UP Police, it has been decided to give relaxation of three years in the upper age limit for all categories of candidates.
20 percent reservation for women
UP government released police recruitment notification on 23 December. More than 60 thousand vacant posts of constable were waiting for recruitment. Out of these, 24,102 posts are reserved for unreserved, 6,024 posts for EWS, 16,264 posts for Other Backward Classes, 12,650 posts for Scheduled Caste, 1,204 posts for Scheduled Tribe. Reservation for women has also been prescribed in the notification. According to the information given in the horizontal reservation given in the notification, 20 percent reservation has been given to women out of all the posts.
