UP Police SI Recruitment 2024: There is a glut of jobs in Uttar Pradesh Police. After more than 60 thousand constable posts, now the recruitment notice for the post of Sub-Inspector has been issued. A total of 921 SI posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. Of these, 268 posts are of Confidential Cadre, 449 posts are of Clerk Cadre and 204 posts are of Accounts Cadre. The notice for these posts has been published on 28 December 2023.

How much is the application fee
To apply for UP Police SI posts, General, OBC and EWS candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 400. Whereas SC, ST, PWBD and women candidates do not have to pay any kind of fee.
Who can apply
The eligibility for application is as per the cadre. For example, for the post of clerk, graduated candidates who have knowledge of computer and typing can apply. Those having computer knowledge along with B.Com can apply for accounts. Age should not be more than 28 years.
Selection and salary
Selection will be done after passing several rounds of examination. Like written examination, DV round, physical standard test, medical examination, skill test/typing test, character verification etc.
If selected, the salary of confidential post ranges from Rs 9300 to Rs 34800. The salary of clerk and accounts ranges from Rs 5200 to Rs 20200.
