How many days will the schools remain closed from September to December?
The School Education Department of Uttar Pradesh had released the holiday calendar for 2024 at the beginning of the academic session 2023-24. Information about all the holidays till December has been given in this calendar. It does not include winter holidays or study holidays before the examination. Schools will remain closed for 2 days in September
According to the UP school holiday calendar, schools will remain closed for 2 days in September 2024. Schools will remain closed on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad on September 16. This is followed by Vishwakarma Puja/Anant Chaturdashi on September 17, which is a restricted holiday. This means that many schools may remain closed on this day, while many schools may remain open. Some schools will also remain closed on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.

October 2024 Holidays
There are many school holidays in October as well. Schools will remain closed on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, Vijayadashami on October 12, Narak Chaturdashi on October 30, and Diwali on October 31. Schools will remain closed for a total of 4 days this month.
November 2024 Holidays
Schools will also remain closed for 4 days in November. Schools will be closed on the occasion of Govardhan Puja on November 2, Bhai Dooj on November 3, Guru Nanak Jayanti on November 15 and Guru Tegh Bahadur Jayanti on November 24.
December 2024 Holidays
Christmas festival will be celebrated in the month of December. Schools will be closed on the occasion of Christmas on December 25 (Wednesday).
