UP School Summer Vacation : In view of the increasing heat in the weather, the school timings have also changed in many districts of UP. The Varanasi District Magistrate issued an order to close the school due to the heat.

UP School Summer Vacation : Half of the month of May has passed. The time has come for school holidays. Children are especially looking forward to the holidays. There is good news for the students of UP. Holidays have been announced in the schools of UP Basic Education Council.

Holidays from 20 May to 15 June

Summer vacations in government schools of Uttar Pradesh will be from 20 May to 15 June. The order regarding holidays in government schools has been issued by the Secretary of UP Basic Education Council, Prayagraj. According to the notice, the summer vacation in the schools run under the control of the UP Education Department will start from May 20 and will continue till June 15.

Change in school timings in many districts

In view of the increasing heat in the weather, the timings of schools have also changed in many districts of UP. The Varanasi District Magistrate issued an order to close the school due to the heat. There it was decided to close the schools from class 1 to 8. According to the instructions, all CBSE, UP, CISCE board schools will be closed in Varanasi.

Holidays announced here apart from UP

  • In view of the increasing heat, the Madhya Pradesh government has also fixed summer vacation in schools from May 1 to June 15.
  • Summer vacation in Jharkhand will start from May 21 till June 10. The new academic session will start from June 12.
  • In Maharashtra, the holidays in primary, middle and higher secondary schools will be from 21 April to 15 June.
