In such a situation, you get the facility to withdraw money from ATM even if you do not have a debit or credit card. Recently, Hitachi Payment Service launched UPI ATM in collaboration with NPCI, after which now a government bank is also providing the facility to customers to withdraw cash using UPI without debit or credit card.
BOB is providing UPI ATM service
The benefit of UPI ATM service is being provided by the Indian government bank, Bank of Baroda (BOB). You can withdraw money from Bank of Baroda ATM by scanning UPI QR Code from your mobile.
BOB launches UPI ATM
Bank of Baroda has launched UPI ATMs in public areas. If you do not have a debit card, you can withdraw money using the UPI app. The facility to withdraw money from Bank of Baroda’s UPI ATM will be available by scanning the UPI QR code.
Bank of Baroda said in a statement that it is the first public sector bank in the country to launch UPI ATM. For information, let us tell you that last week, Hitachi Payment Services had launched UPI ATM service in the Global Fintech Fest.
Customers of other banks will also be able to withdraw money
The bank has used Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal (ICCW) technology for UPI ATMs. In this technique no card is required to withdraw cash. The bank says that its and other bank customers will also be able to withdraw cash from Bank of Baroda UPI ATMs through the UPI-enabled mobile app.
How to withdraw money from UPI ATM of Bank of Baroda?
Go to UPI ATM of Bank of Baroda.
“UPI Cardless Cash” option will be available on its screen, click on it.
After this there will be an option for cash withdrawal, select it.
Now QR code will show on the screen, open the UPI app in your phone and scan it.
After this select the bank account from which you want to withdraw money.
After this enter the PIN and then the transaction process will be completed.
After completion of the transaction, cash will come from the ATM.
Only chance to withdraw so much money
You can withdraw only Rs 10,000 once from Bank of Baroda’s UPI ATM. For this also, the already existing UPI daily limit rule will remain applicable.
