A map of the world was shared by the Government of India (MyGovIndia), in which the countries where UPAI can now be used were highlighted. In fact, India’s digital payment system UPI was recently launched in Sri Lanka and Mauritius as well, after which the Indian government showed the list of countries in the world where people can use UPI. UPI payment will start in UAE also
Apart from India, India’s payment system i.e. UPI has started working in these seven countries. However, apart from these, PM Modi, who recently visited UAE, has also announced the launch of UPI in UAE. India’s digital payment system UPI will work in collaboration with UAE’s digital payment system AANI. Apart from this, PM Modi has also launched India’s RuPay card in UAE.
