You can do money transactions through Google Pay, Paytm or PhonePe. A PIN number has to be entered when transacting money through a mobile wallet. This pin number is called UPI Pin.
Google Pay UPI PIN Reset: Online payment system has lightened the weight of people’s pockets. Now there is no money in the pockets of the rich from the rich. It is not that due to lack of money, they cannot shop or move anywhere. All the work related to money transactions is now being done through mobile. The situation is that even if 5 rupees have to be paid at any tea shop, then many people transfer money online.
The mobile wallet has now replaced the leather wallet in the pocket. You can do money transactions through Google Pay, Paytm or PhonePe. A PIN number has to be entered when transacting money through a mobile wallet. This pin number is called UPI Pin.
UPI PIN
UPI PIN consists of two words UPI and PIN. Here UPI stands for Unified Payment Interface and PIN stands for Personal Identification Number.
Your UPI PIN is the number that you use when adding a new payment account or making a transaction. You need to set a UPI PIN while adding the bank account for the first time with the mobile wallet. If you already have a UPI PIN for your bank account, the same UPI PIN can be used for Google Pay. You can also change your UPI PIN using Google Pay. You have to set a different UPI PIN for each linked bank account.
New pin number
Many times it happens that you forget your UPI PIN number. If you enter the wrong UPI PIN more than three times, you will need to reset your PIN. And you have to wait for 24 hours to do the next transaction. During this time you can neither send nor receive money.
Change UPI Pin with Google Pay
- To change the PIN, first open Google Pay.
- Click on your profile picture in the top left.
- Now click on the option of Bank Account.
- Here the list of bank accounts will come, which you have included in the mobile wallet.
- Click on the bank account whose UPI PIN is to be changed.
- Click on the 3 dots on the top left.
- Now many options will come in front of you.
- Click on Change UPI Pin from them.
Now first enter the old UPI PIN. Then add a new PIN. - After this your UPI PIN will be changed.
- In this way you can easily change the UPI Pin in Google Pay.
Forgetting pin number
- First open the Google Pay app.
- Tap on your photo in the top left.
- Click on Bank Account.
- Tap the bank account you want to edit.
- Tap on Forgot UPI PIN.
- Enter the last six digits of your debit card number and the expiry date.
- Create a new UPI PIN here.
- OTP will come on mobile phone.
- Enter this OTP.
- In this way your new PIN will be generated.
