Actually, HDFC Bank has announced to suspend UPI services for its customers for some time and the first day of this is tomorrow i.e. 5 November. Under this, it will be closed for 2 hours tonight because these services will not run from 12 o’clock to 2 o’clock at night.

First day of suspension of UPI services
HDFC Bank has said that the bank’s UPI services will be down for 2 hours on November 5. This time is from 12 am to 2 am. This means that you have to be prepared because HDFC Bank customers will not be able to avail these services from 12 am to 2 am tonight.
UPI services remain suspended for the second day
Apart from November 5, HDFC Bank’s UPI services will be down for 3 hours on November 23, 2024. This time is from 12 midnight to 3 am. There are 18 days left for this second scheduled downtime, so finish your important work beforehand.
What special things did HDFC Bank ask to keep in mind?
- During this downtime, neither financial nor non-financial UPI transactions will be possible.
- This limit will be applicable on both savings and current accounts of HDFC Bank.
- This situation will also apply to HDFC Bank’s RuPay card and UPI services will not be able to be used through it either.
- Shopkeepers who accept payments through HDFC Bank’s UPI services will also not be able to accept payments.

UPI accounts linked to HDFC Bank will not work on November 5 and November 23. If you have a Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay, Mobikwik or any other UPI account linked to HDFC Bank, you will have to wait to transfer or receive money. Instead, you can transfer or receive money through NEFT or IMPS.
