UPSC CSE Result 2019: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Reserve List for the Civil Services (Principal) Examination 2019. According to the notice and reserve list issued by the Commission on Monday, 4 January 2021, the Central Department of Personnel and Training has recommended for the appointment of 89 additional candidates. Earlier, the UPSC announced the results of the Civil Services Main Examination on 4 August 2020, recommending the appointment of 829 candidates for the 927 vacancies announced for the exam. Candidates who have appeared in the UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2019 can see their name or roll number in the list released on the official website of the Commission, upsc.gov.in.

73 out of 89 candidates from general category
According to the notice issued by UPSC on Monday, out of 89 candidates included in the Reserve List, 73 belong to the general category. At the same time, 14 candidates from other backward classes, economically backward classes and 1-1 candidates from scheduled castes are included. Second, the Commission has announced that the candidates of four candidates are provisional and the results of one candidate have been withheld.
Revision of reserve list possible
On the other hand, the Commission informed in its notice that there may be a change in the reserved list issued for the Civil Services Examination 2019. This change is possible due to a case pending by the Honorable Court.

Let us know that the written examination was conducted by UPSC under the Civil Services Examination 2019 in September 2019. On the other hand, the Personality Test was conducted between February to August 2020 as part of the Principal Examination. The final results were announced on 4 August 2020. After this, the reserve list was released on 4 January.
