UPSC Recruitment 2021: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Assistant Professor, Senior Scientific Officer and many other posts. All interested candidates can apply online for recruitment to these posts through official website upsconline.nic.in on or before 11 November 2021.
According to the official notification, through this process 1 post of Assistant Professor, 6 posts of Assistant Defense Estate Officer, 16 posts of Senior Scientific Officer, 33 posts of Assistant Director and 8 vacancies of Medical Officer will be recruited.
For recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and Assistant Director, the candidate should have a master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university. Whereas, for the recruitment to the post of Assistant Defense Estate Officer, the candidate should have a degree in civil engineering and for the post of Senior Scientific Officer, an engineering degree in the relevant field. The educational qualification is different for all the posts, so candidates can check the official notification for detailed information.
Talking about the age limit, for the recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and Medical Officer, the age of the candidate should not be more than 38 years. Whereas, the upper age limit for the post of Senior Scientific Officer and Assistant Director is 35 years. At the same time, the maximum age for Assistant Defense Estate Officer has been fixed at 30 years. However, age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates for recruitment to these posts as per government rules.
All interested and eligible candidates can apply online for recruitment to these posts on the official website of the commission upsconline.nic.in by 11 November 2021. To apply, candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.25. However, SC/ST/PWBD/Women candidates will not have to pay the application fee.
