But there is big news for the residents of Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu. The government has announced to run semi-high-speed Vande Bharat Express trains on the Delhi-Jaipur and Chennai-Coimbatore routes.
Currently 10 Vande Bharat Express are running in the country. Delhi-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express is going to be the 11th train of India. This train will cover the time from Delhi to Jaipur in just 3 hours. According to the information, the Delhi-Jaipur Vande Bharat train is going to start before April. The exact date of the launch of the train has not been disclosed yet.
Tamil Nadu will get 12th Vande Bharat Express
According to information, South India is going to get 12th Vande Bharat Express. This train can be run between Chennai to Coimbatore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi can flag off this train on 8 April. This will be the second Vande Bharat train to run from Chennai. Currently Vande Bharat train runs from Chennai to Mysore.
Vande Bharat has not started in many states till now
Maharashtra has maximum 4 Vande Bharat Express, but Vande Bharat has not been started in many states yet. These include Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Northeast and Odisha.

The first Vande Bharat Express was run between the capital of the country and Varanasi. After this, Vande Bharat was started from Delhi to Katra, Mumbai to Ahmedabad, New Delhi to Andaura (Himachal), Chennai-Mysore, Bilaspur-Nagpur, Howrah-New Jalpaiguri, Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad, Mumbai-Shirdi and Mumbai-Solapur.
