Lucknow to Chhapra Vande Bharat Express Train: Good news has come for the passengers traveling to UP and Bihar by train. Indian Railways has extended the period of operation of Lucknow-Chhapra Vande Bharat Express train. This new semi-high-speed train was started in view of the extra rush of passengers on the occasion of Holi. Let us tell you that this new Vande Bharat special train is being operated and maintained by the Northern Railway (NR) zone.
Northern Railway (NR) issued a release saying, ‘For the information of the passengers, it is informed that the Railways has decided to run the reserved Vande Bharat Special train 02270/02269 Lucknow-Chhapra Jn.-Lucknow (6 days a week, except Tuesday).

The Lucknow to Chhapra Vande Bharat Express train has been running at full capacity since its inception, that is, all the tickets of the train are being sold. Earlier, the Railways had decided to run train number 02270/02269 Lucknow-Chhapra-Lucknow Vande Bharat Special train till March 17, except Tuesday.
However, now this ultra-modern train will be operated from April 26. During this extended period, the train will run from both the cities on all days of the week except Tuesday. The train will complete 27 trips in each direction.

The Lucknow-Chhapra Vande Bharat Special train will cover a distance of 489 km in a total of 7 hours 15 minutes. Let us tell you that this is the fastest train running on this route. After this, there are Dibrugarh Rajdhani and Bihar Sampark Kranti which cover the same distance in 7 hours 17 minutes and 8 hours respectively.

Train number 02270 Lucknow-Chhapra Vande Bharat Special train will leave from Lucknow at 2:16 pm and will reach Chhapra at 9:30 pm. On return, it will become train number 02269 and Chhapra-Lucknow Vande Bharat Special train will leave Chhapra at 11 pm and will reach Lucknow at 6:30 am the next day.

The Lucknow-Chhapra Vande Bharat Special train has an 8-car rake and two seating arrangements. This train has the option of AC chair car and executive chair car.
