Vande Bharat Express: Operation of Vande Bharat train was started on the Delhi to Varanasi route in February 2019. Keeping in view the convenience of the passengers, many changes have been made in the semi high speed train since its inception.
Rani Kamlapati Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express: A new update has come from the Railways for the passengers of Rani Kamlapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express. Now this train will be operated till Rewa. This will save a lot of time for passengers traveling between the two cities. The train will operate six days a week except Tuesday. Vande Bharat Express train number-20173 will leave from Rani Kamalapati station at 3.30 pm. This train will reach Narmadapuram at 4.18 pm, Itarsi at 4.45 pm, Pipariya at 5.28 pm, Narsinghpur at 6.28 pm, Jabalpur at 7.50 pm, Katni at 9.10 pm, Maihar at 10 am, Satna. It will depart at 10.30 pm and reach Rewa station at 11.30 am.
A total of 68 Vande Bharat trains are currently operating.
The train will leave from Rewa at 5.30 am and reach Satna at 6.10 am. After this, it will reach Maihar at 6.40 pm, Katni at 7.28 pm, Jabalpur at 8.35 pm, Narsinghpur at 9.40 pm, Pipariya at 10.40 am, Itarsi at 11.40 pm, Narmadapuram at 12.08 pm. The train will reach Rani Kamalapati station at 1.30 pm. This train will connect Mahakaushal area (Jabalpur) to the central area (Bhopal) of Madhya Pradesh. Preparations are underway by the Railway Ministry to start operating sleeper Vande Bharat trains soon. At present 68 Vande Bharat trains are being operated in the country.
Semi high speed train will run at a speed of 160 km per hour
Vande Bharat train was first started operating on the Delhi to Varanasi route in February 2019. Keeping in view the convenience of the passengers, many changes have been made in the semi high speed train since its inception. To run Vande Bharat at a faster speed, track upgradation work is being done at a rapid pace. After this, Vande Bharat is expected to run at a speed of 160 km per hour. Many types of improvements are taking place on the Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Howrah tracks.
Vande Bharat Express with chair car has 8 bogies. But the number of sleeper coaches in Vande Bharat will increase to 16. Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers in Sleeper Vande Bharat, there will be AC1, AC2 and AC3 coaches. Each sleeper Vande will have 857 berths. Of these, 823 berths will be reserved for passengers. The remaining berths will be for train staff. There are plans to introduce aluminum body coaches in the coming time. With these light weight coaches, the speed of the train can increase to 220 km per hour.
