Earlier, government employees did not get the facility to travel in the said vehicles on training, transfer and retirement. If an employee went to another place on transfer, he did not get official permission to travel in these trains.
There is good news for lakhs of central government employees. According to the office memorandum issued by the Expenditure Department of the Finance Ministry, now central employees will be able to travel in high speed trains ‘Vande Bharat’ and ‘Humsafar’ Express. The Finance Ministry has approved ‘official tours’ of employees in the said trains. Now employees of all central ministries and departments will be able to travel in ‘Vande Bharat’ and ‘Humsafar’ Express on tour, training, transfer and retirement.
Facility will be available for the original place on retirement
According to this, the rules that have been made for central employees to travel in Shatabdi and Rajdhani trains, now the same rules will be applicable for traveling in ‘Vande Bharat’ and ‘Humsafar’ express trains. Rules here means to be ‘authorised to travel’.
On transfer and retirement, the facility to travel in the said trains was not available. If an employee went to some other place on transfer, he did not get official permission to travel in these trains.
Was also deprived of the facility of these trains. Now all employees will be authorized to travel in ‘Vande Bharat’ and ‘Humsafar’ Express even on tour, training, transfer and retirement.
Last year there was discount in ‘Tejas Express’
Central personnel were provided an opportunity to travel in ‘Express’. The Expenditure Department of the Finance Ministry of the Government of India had issued orders in this regard. On the same lines as government employees got the opportunity to travel in ‘Shatabdi’ train, the ministry had provided the facility to central employees to travel in ‘Tejas Express’.

Only those personnel who are going on an official tour will be allowed to travel in Tejas Express. He has to go to be a part of some training program.
